the problem of food waste
Studies show that over 1.3 billion tonnes of food are being wasted - this is an amount that can satisfy the 900 million who are suffering from food insecurities. Furthermore, 2012 Hong Kong landfill statistics show that food waste takes up 36% of our landfills.
